Boris Molodov: “The First Advertising Festival in Yekaterinburg will stimulate the development of the regional advertising market”
In the first days of July, Yekaterinburg will host the participants of the First Regional Advertising Festival within the framework of the industrial forum NAF “Regions”. The organizers of the forum are AKAR and AKAR Ural. The CA “GlavSovetnik” is the communication partner of the event.
The 1st professional creative advertising competition is a new project aimed at developing the regional advertising market and identifying the brightest representatives of the country’s advertising industry. The motto of the Festival is “First for everyone” and it corresponds to its concept – to help with the start, first of all, to regional agencies: to provide everyone with equal opportunities from submitting an application for the competition to personal consulting during the project.
“The decision to hold a festival of this format in Yekaterinburg seems to me absolutely logical – the city has firmly secured its status as the capital of Russian creativity, attracting and accumulating young talents from all over Russia. In recent years, a huge number of cool advertisers have appeared in the regions, who are not represented in any large industry platforms”, – said Boris Molodov, a member of the jury, Managing Partner of the CA “GlavSovetnik”. “A study conducted jointly with AKAR Ural showed that more than 70% of companies do not participate in federal festivals and awards, considering their cases weaker than others; 65% of companies see federal agencies as stronger competitors; most are convinced that the winners at such events are the same well-known market players. The main message of the festival is to dispel this myth and make 1st a unique platform for participants from regions who are ready to make themselves known throughout the country and, with its help, get into the rating of creativity. In my opinion, the project has a great future with the prospect of reaching a higher federal level”.
Educational and creative lectures, networking space, strategic sessions, discussions, workshops, meetups with top experts, pitches with brands are planned for the participants of the forum-festival. The final of the event will take place on July 2. The winners will have the opportunity to showcase their projects at the Red Apple International Advertising Festival.
