“Coal control” project in the Primorsky Territory

Organization and implementation of “Coal control” aimed at checking the activities of stevedoring companies to ensure environmental safety measures. The companies’ performance was assessed according to several criteria, for example, by the presence of closed car dumpers, an irrigation system, water cushions, etc.

In August 2018, the Coal Control project was successfully implemented in the Primorsky Territory. The project was initiated by a well-known blogger, leader of public time – Alexander Khitrov. Alexander sent letters with notification of the event to 14 stevedoring companies located in Vladivostok, Nakhodka and Wrangel.

Together with the project team, Alexander visited those companies that agreed to openly demonstrate their production. The event attracted media attention. Alexander’s interviews have been published by such publications as FederalPress, OTV-Prim, PrimaMedia, PrimPress, and Competitor.
