“Primakov Readings”: the experts of the “GlavSovetnik” discussed the global megatrends of our time

The VII International Forum “Primakov Readings” with the participation of leading representatives of Russian and foreign research and expert-analytical centers has come to an end in Moscow. Representatives of the CA “GlavSovetnik” took part in the work of the forum.

During the two-day event, scientists and politicians from 25 countries discussed key trends in the global transformation of society and scenarios for the future world order. The main agenda of the forum was a discussion devoted to the analysis of contemporary challenges to the world order.

On the eve of the forum, the fourth youth section was held on the topic “Global problems of the post-like world order: new challenges and leaders.” Within the framework of seven sections, young scientists considered such global problems of our time as climate change, socio-economic inequality, the preservation of strategic stability, the accelerating digitalization of public life, the dynamics of the development of international conflicts. The experts paid special attention to the growing role of Asian countries in the emerging architecture of international relations after the COVID-19 pandemic, the place of Western countries and the future of Russia in the transforming system of relations.

The head of the operational monitoring department of the Research and Social Projects Department of the CA “GlavSovetnik” Leonid Tsukanov took part in the work of the round table, speaking to the audience with the report “Global problems of the post-like world order: COVID-19 and terrorism in the Middle East”.
